to Date
Responsible as Managing Partner for the financial
and administrative management of the practice of five
partners and eight personnel. Professional responsibilities
include advising upon commercial development and strategic
property consultancy, property acquisition and corporate
relocation. Other
responsibilities include the regular preparation and
implementation of marketing reports and budgets, the
preparation of formal valuations of capital and rental
value for taxation, capital gains, insurance, balance
sheet and company take-over purposes. Property range
includes office and industrial buildings, retail premises,
schools, hotels, garage premises and development land.
In the latter case, computer models are regularly used
in the preparation of residual valuations and feasibility
studies.
1986
to 1989
Overall responsibility for the financial and
administrative management of the commercial and industrial
division of Hogg Robinson. Professional responsibilities
were maintained in the areas of property development,
valuation and landlord and tenant matters.
1972 – 1986
Responsibilities involved the day to day running
of a commercial department in all its aspects, including
valuation, sales and lettings, rating and survey work,
planning and development advice. In particular, much
time was spent on landlord and tenant matters, including
the preparation of submissions and proofs of evidence
for arbitrations and as an independent expert and appearances
in the County Court as an Expert Witness.
