Hicks Baker completes Reading Half Marathon

For the third year running (pun clearly intended) Hicks Baker bravely fielded a team for the Reading Half Marathon Corporate Relay Challenge. The conditions were perfect, bright sunshine but with a cool breeze.
Our intrepid team, which included both the youngest and the eldest member of staff at Hicks Baker, joined over 13,000 other runners to pound 13.1 miles around the streets of Reading. Finishing the race in the Madjeski Stadium, the team came a very creditable 21st out of a field of 55 corporate team entries, with a time just over 2 hours, 5 minutes.
