The Mill Street Partnership, a fund operated by London & Oriental, has completed the letting of 2 floors comprising 8,008 sq ft at their newly developed Chatsworth House in Maidenhead town centre.
ViroPharma Europe has taken the second and third floors of the 17,563 sq ft office building on a new 10 year lease with a 5 year tenant only break option. ViroPharma Incorporated is a multinational biotechnology company committed to developing and commercializing innovative products that address unmet medical needs.
The company’s current focus is to develop these products for physician specialists in hospital/transplant medicine, and gastroenterology, the branch of medicine dealing with the disorders affecting the digestive tract and associated organs. ViroPharma currently focuses its drug development activities in diseases including cytomegalovirus (CMV) and Clostridium difficile.
Chatsworth House will be ViroPharma’s new European Headquarters as the company executes on the U.S. and European development of maribavir, the company’s Phase 3 drug candidate being developed to prevent a potentially deadly viral infection in transplant patients.
