Case Studies
The building, which was vacated by a tenant when their lease came to an end, required complete refurbishment and the landlord also took the opportunity to extend the property increasing the available space by 18%. This presented the agents with the issue of how to promote the building with nothing much to look at and to give prospective occupiers a flavor of what a high-quality finished building would look like.
Hicks Baker employed specialists to create stunning virtual reality internal and external images of how the building will look when completed, whilst the work was proceeding.
Commenting on the project, Stephen Head, Business Space Director at Hicks Baker, said:
“We were challenged to improve our speed to market, to showcase the high-quality product that our client was creating whilst, at the same time, minimising the risk of putting people off by showing occupiers what was (and still is) a building site. The use of CGI and VR has been a key component of our marketing programme and critical to bringing the timescales forward. This approach has already generated some positive interest and we are confident that the continued use of CGIs, even after practical completion has taken place in September, will further improve our chances of achieving an early letting.”
