Fiona Brownfoot, Director, Retail and Leisure at Hicks Baker has been honoured for her contribution to Reading, alongside a host of famous faces connected with the town.

A piece of artwork, entitled ‘Legends of Reading’ created by renowned hair stylist and entrepreneur, Mark Woolley depicts key figures who are either from, or who have contributed to Reading’s rich and diverse culture. These include Ricky Gervais, Kate Winslet, the proprietors of the popular venue, The Purple Turtle, and Sir John Madejski.

The artwork, unveiled at the ‘Legends of Reading Launch Party’ in Reading on the 27th June 2024, was created to raise money for two charities, Launchpad and No.5 Young People. A proud partner of the LandAid Pro Bono Programme, Hicks Baker supports No.5 Young People, a metal health charity helping children and young people, on a pro bono basis.

Fiona Brownfoot said, “I’m extremely grateful to Mark for including me in the artwork, and to be recognised as a positive contributor to Reading. The piece is a depiction of the power of collaboration, the generosity of our community, and the shared passion we have for making our town a better place.”

A limited edition print run of 100 will be published and available soon.
