As a firm that has benefitted from being part of the local business community for over 30 years, we like to use our expertise to give back to the community, however we can.
Hicks Baker are therefore pleased to announce that they have become a LandAid Pro Bono Programme Partner, which involves providing free professional commercial property advice.
LandAid is a charity working within the property industry whose vision is primarily to put an end to youth homelessness in the UK. Their mission is to bring the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are, have been, or are at risk of homelessness.
We are currently assisting two charitable organisations who are in need of property advice in order to continue to provide their invaluable services for disadvantaged people.
Gareth Pettit, LandAid Pro Bono Programme Manager has said:
“As we seek to expand the corporate membership of the LandAid Pro Bono Programme, we are delighted that Hicks Baker have joined the network, bringing with them a range of professional property services and expertise that is much needed by our charity partners. Not only that, but they have already volunteered their time in support of two requests within the first month of signing-up, acting as a role model to others in the industry and kickstarting their impact on deserving and hardworking charities and the vulnerable people they support.”
“We would be delighted to hear from any other property industry firms or individuals who are interested in finding out more about professional skills-based volunteering through the LandAid Pro Bono programme, as well as any UK-based charities with a social mission who might benefit from free professional support with their property-based projects.”
